Salena Elizabeth BRADFORD

Salena Elizabeth BRADFORD was born 18 Apr 1878 in Palo Pinto County, Texas. She died 11 Dec 1913 at Santo, Palo Pinto County, Texas, and she was buried at the East Side Cemetery at Santo. Salena was the daughter of Columbus Randolph BRADFORD of Alabama and Sarah Elizabeth NEWBERRY of Missouri. She had red hair, green eyes and a fair complexion.

About 1900 Salena Elizabeth BRADFORD married William Lee HORTON b. 10 Apr 1871 at Louisville, Jefferson County, Missouri. He was the son of Mason Dodson HORTON and Celia Elizabeth Ann WADLEY. He died 6 May 1952 at Graham, Young County, Texas. The marriage was performed on 17 Nov 1901 in Palo Pinto County, Texas by R E BOYETT, J.P. Salena and William Lee HORTON had the following children:

• Celia Elizabeth HORTON b. 4 Jan 1902 at Santo, d. 5 Dec 1989 at Port Orchard, Kitsap County, Washington. She is buried at Medlan Chapel Cemetery at Graham, Young County, Texas. She married David Marvin HARGRAVE.
• Bradford Dodson HORTON b. 3 Jun 1906 at Santo, d. 11 Dec 1965 at Graham, Young County, Texas. He is buried at the Pioneer Cemetery at Graham.
• James Alford HORTON b. 10 Aug 1910 at Santo, d. 6 Dec 1919 at Ivan, Stephens County, Texas; death by drowning. He is buried at the Santo Cemetery at Santo.
